About Vincent M. Aguirre
Since 2012, Vincent has been using his expertise in technology to serve small businesses and his local community.
He currently serves as Founder and President of 25/7 Consulting, a company focused on delivering consulting, mentoring, and technical expertise to small businesses and entrepreneurs throughout Putnam County, Indiana, and nationally. Since Vincent founded the business in 2015, it has become the largest locally owned hosting and web design company in the Putnam County area. Before founding 25/7 Consulting, Vincent was also a co-founder of WynWay Technologies, a company committed to helping communities use technology more effectively.
The initiative and drive that enabled him to found two successful companies has also allowed Vincent to pursue his commitment to small businesses and his local community. For instance, in January 2016, Vincent oversaw the launching of 25/7’s GoPutco.com website. This site provides an online resource for residents of and visitors to Putnam County. Through it, visitors may access a business directory, a local events calendar, and a news feed in order to keep up with the latest developments in the area.
Vincent also belongs to three boards devoted to supporting local organizations. The first, 100+ Men Who Care of Putnam County, provides tens of thousands of dollars every year to charities and nonprofits that have a positive impact on Putnam County. The second, the Greencastle Advisory Board of the Indiana Small Business Development Commission (ISBDC), provides advice, guidance, and support to small businesses in the state. The third, the Board of Directors of the Greencastle/Putnam County Economic Development Center, encourages investments that will encourage Putnam County’s economic growth.
Thanks to his expertise in technology and social media, Vincent has had the opportunity to deliver speeches and presentations in a number of contexts. Perhaps the most prominent of these was his speech at “Uplift—Elevating Diversity in Technology.”
Vincent is a 2012 graduate of DePauw University. However, his potential for academic success and future leadership was recognized in high school when he became a Posse Scholar. The Posse Foundation provides support, training, and scholarships to outstanding high school students as they enter and move through college.
In his personal life, Vincent’s philanthropic spirit and love of family shine through. Since 2010, he and his family have organized an annual Christmas toy drive called Share the Magic. Established in honor of his grandmother, Barbara Aguirre, the drive has grown every year and generates hundreds of toys that are delivered to a variety of nonprofit organizations. In addition, the drive has twice generated Easter baskets for local families in need.
Vincent’s personal life also includes many hobbies. In particular, he plays basketball three times a week as part of a long standing Greencastle tradition called Noon Hoops.
